I've had my new car for a few weeks now and I'm already stressing about keeping the paint in good condition with all the dust, sun, and sand we get here. I'm torn between getting Paint Protection Film (PPF) or going for a ceramic coating, and honestly the more I read, the more confused I get. I've heard PPF is better for actually stopping stone chips and scratches, but ceramic gives that insane gloss and hydrophobic effect that makes cleaning way easier . I'm leaning towards PPF because I do a lot of highway driving and I'm paranoid about rock chips, but I'm also a bit worried about the cost and whether it'll hold up in the summer heat without yellowing or peeling.
